As an active member of the communities we serve, the Palo Alto Medical Foundation (PAMF) has long been committed to meeting the health needs of local populations. This dedication stretches far beyond our efforts to provide top-quality medical care, encompassing a wide range of activities and partnerships designed to keep people healthy. PAMF also provides unpaid care to qualified low-income patients and to those enrolled in Medicare, Medi-Cal and other government programs.

For PAMF, providing community benefit is both a regulatory obligation and a key part of our mission. As a not-for-profit organization, we are required to provide some community service to maintain our tax-exempt status. But our commitment to keeping local populations healthy goes far deeper. Since our founding, serving the community has been embedded at the very heart of the work we do.
