Camino Medical Group is a community partner working to provide you with outstanding care in a group practice setting. The Department Of Hematology, Oncology, Immunology and Infusion Services supports the mission of CMG by providing the highest quality, state-of-the art medical care for our patients and families, taking into consideration not only response to treatment but also quality of life. The hematology/oncology is the specialty within CMG that treats patients with cancers, leukemias and hematologic (blood) disorders.

In addition, CMG oncologists participate in the Cancer and Leukemia Group B (CALGB) cancer trials. The CALGB is a national clincial research group sponsored by the National Cancer Institue. Through their national network of university medical centers, community hospitals and oncology specialist, the Camino Medical Group oncologists have access to the latest research trials for many solid tumor and hematologic cancers. All studies are reviewed by a local institutional review board to ensure the rights of cancer patients are addressed and protected.
